Smart Agriculture leverages advanced technology, including IoT, to enhance farm productivity while minimizing manual labor. IoT technologies offer critical metrics about crops, such as moisture levels, ambient temperature, humidity, livestock health, and asset location. Farmers can access and visualize this data in real-time via online dashboards or mobile applications. Smart Agriculture represents an innovative approach to optimizing resource use.
HOW DO VISTA SMART AGRICULTURE SOLUTIONS WORK?
Vista sensors for smart agriculture gather data on soil moisture and temperature, as well as ambient humidity, light, and temperature levels. Once collected, this information is transmitted to the LoRaWAN®, which forwards it to the network server. From there, data packets are sent to either our application or a third-party application, allowing users to visualize and analyze the measurements.
Our agricultural sensors are available in two deployment options:
- Elevated Mount: KIWI Agriculture Sensor
- Surface Mount: CLOVER Agriculture Sensor
The surface mount option is ideal for private farms and gardens because it can be easily deployed by any worker. The elevated mount option is suitable for public parks and gardens, as the sensor is positioned further from the public, reducing the risk of accidental damage or theft. Both sensors boast an extensive battery life of up to 10 years, making them a valuable long-term investment in agriculture.
